Actually I think I'm starting to get used to it. At this point if I just had a pair of (pretty) galoshes I'd be fine with the rain. I'm just glad that we live on fairly high ground!
According to CNN's headlines what we're experiencing is:
"FAY-TIGUED - How much can you take?"
Pfft! I still say this is much better than 2004. I'd rather have inches and inches of rain than a ton of tornadoes and devastating wind. Don't get me wrong, my sympathies to those whose homes are flood, but a flooded home is still better than a home reduced to matchsticks. It's bad yes, but it could be much, much worse.
