Awwww! That's so sweet. But ... we can't wear sweaters in this climate! And poor Mr. Whatshisname! He'll have to be like the original cast of Star Trek ... professionally unemployed until he dies!
I had dinner with David while he was here in Tn last month. I helped him with the kick-off in Knoxville, TN. I also wrote stories for the local paper and ended up with 2,000 sweaters for Mr. McFeely.
Ya know that name somehow doesn't sound politcally correct these days. "Yeah, boys and girls, let me go get Mr. McFeely whose a Macdaddy" ......see what I mean
It was quite amusing when David wore his costume. He is only 52 and people treated him as though he were an elderly 80 yr old. The moment he was out of costume, no one paid attention to him.
I had a great time with him - - being filled in on the life of Mr. Rogers.
