The man makes an excellent point. Why don't I know how many soldiers have died in Iraq so far this year? Why haven't I heard one single name of someone who died "protecting" me? I read CNN.com every night during my lunch break, and I don't think I read one single story today about Iraq.

As a footnote: The hosts say at the end of the segment that they'll be back with Montel to discuss his book after commercials. When they came back from break Montel was gone and they didn't mention his absence.
Four days after this aired Montel's show was suddenly canceled after a 17 year run when the FOX owned stations chose not to renew it.
wow really? I heard the show was ending, but didn't hear the part about Fox. How petty!
