Check Engine

The Check Engine light was on when I got in the car this morning.  I turned the car off and waited a minute, hoping that the car was just confused.

No such luck.

It seems to be driving just fine, but ignoring the light has historically been a bad move, so I made an appointment at the dealership for first thing Monday morning.  Now I'll only have to ignore it for two days.

Anyone want to pray for poor Frances?  She might need it...

Prayers up! Poor Frances, she's certainly had a rough time. Here's hoping that the light is just the need for a routine check.

Ruthie's check engine light goes on if the gas cap isn't screwed on tight enough ... so now I always check that first! I remember the very first time in my life my check engine light went on ... it was in my Saturn, and I was on that back road to the "cash member" entrance ... right in the middle of nowhere! MAN! Talk about praying! I was scared to death! That was before I realized it was just one of the many signs of the car's old age.

Oh, and by the way ... GOD BLESS BABY, FRANCES!
