Stupid Things You Hear on TV, National Edition:
Usually our local newscasters can be counted on to deliver a bad pun or mispronounce a common word. Sometimes they come up with some real gems. This morning though, Diane Sawyer must have taken her stupid pill. Coming back from a story of something that happened yesterday, she quipped "So that happened on cinco de cuatro!" One of the guys paused, trying to decide whether or not to say it, and then responded "cuatro de Mayo."
I love Diane, and GMA is the only morning news show that I watch, so please understand that I poke fun in a good way. I just don't think I've ever seen her fumble like that before.
